Our travels are so busy that I don’t have lots of time to write my catch-ups for our blog. Alex had a look to the statistics of the blog and he saw you use Google Translate quite often, so I am sure it’s not a problem if I don’t write too often :-)

We had a beautiful circumnavigation cruise around Australia and it was awesome to have a good overview of more than twenty ports. I loved Brisbane when I cuddled a koala (yeah… so cute!!). Cairns and Kuranda, Exmouth, Perth, only awesome places and always very welcoming people. Our trip to Komodo Island, Indonesia was really nice. We met the very special Komodo dragons! Later at Darwin, we saw the crocodiles but we are still alive. We also saw on Magnetic Island two wild koalas.

The weather was also good and not too warm. Only 40°C in Komodo and a bit less in Exmouth, Geraldton and Darwin. I thought it would be much warmer. Sometimes there was lots of humidity and as we are not used, it is a bit tiring and we were happy to go back to the comfort of our ship and room.

Since 17 April, we are inland. A few days in Sydney and in Melbourne where we met a good Swiss friend. Then we had a car to drive the Great Ocean Road which was nice (but no as impressive as the outback!). After a few stops in McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Coonewarra to visit a few wineries and taste wines for Alex, we stopped in Adelaide to get a new car (Toyota RAV4 AWD) which ables us to drive to Alice Springs. We are now on our way and we love these impressive landscapes.
