While there is a guide on how to use this feature with a iPhone running iOS 3.1 or higher, no indication is provided for Android.

A test in a railway station in Switzerland confirmed that the MOBILE-EAPSIM hotspot isn't properly recognised on my Android 2.1 phone. The phone tells me that this hotspot is secured as WEP and asks me for the WEP key when trying to connect to it.

Swisscom told me that Android doesn't support this mode yet, and this discussion seem to confirm that there's no support yet of EAPSIM on Android.

The only strange thing is that in Berne were I tested the MOBILE-EAPSIM access, there was another WiFi hotspot which was shown on Android as being secured by "EAP 802.1x". Unfortunately there's no reference on internet about that SSID "MOONZONE-EAP"...
